They've only lost once at PPL Park...........it's not like they have a losing record here.

I don't see the point in worrying about public transit or stadium location anymore. We're in Chester and its not going to change and even if there was will to spend more on transit, it would be a decade before it happens. Sure, it sucks on weeknights. However, it wasn't so bad when we were all more enthusiastic five years ago. We complain now because this team sucks. As for tonight, with all the absences I still think its a loss. Why? Because Union, that's why...

Usually memorable games though... 1-1 draw in a monsoon, 2-2 draw with the Danny Cruz double strike. A guy can dream.

So at least we know the problems were Pfeffer playing on the right instead of the left and Gaddis.

I kind of expect a win tonight.

In all honesty though, with all the injuries we have what changes would you make? Other than Wenger out, of course.

    at least they're not losing.......

In retrospect, I should be grateful the ref whiffed on the obvious handball in the box by Scott. Saved Edu the ignominy of embarrassing himself twice from the spot.

Speaking of which, might have gotten confirmation Chivas won't be getting any help in obtaining pts. unless somebody gets kicked in the head. Maybe it'll wake Wenger up.

This club seriously lacks the ability to score a soccer ball with anything resembling regularity. The opportunities against a weakened and disinterested Seattle side certainly were there.

Now: just have to wait for their legs to totally collapse well in advance of too late substitutions........................

Uninspired. Is someone paying Edu to miss? Dude shouldn't be allowed on the opposition half. Nogiera might be 5'2" and only weight 105 but he'd be a better option in the box.

So Catic is back from the loan?

    Chaco would be my choice.

NASL is on summer break so given the Union forward injury woes, Carolina probably let him return to train wit hthe Union. Since the NASL Fall Season starts next month, Union are likely trying to acquire Sylvestre via a small transfer fee so the Catic loan may not be needed for the Fall season.

Most were decent enough tonight...got the job done.
Edu was bad, Sylvestre was going to get a N/A (that's good !) until he had to work a bit at the end.
Subs were satisfactory. Yuk gives and takes away with his decision-making, Fred gave them a lift, Gaddis had enough left in the tank to give them a late lift.
Even Wenger opened up his browser-should have led to a PK.......

    Effort gets the stars :

***-Carroll : Protected the defense well enough, nice job coordinating the game from the back.

**- Dr. Pfeffer : high energy, 1 v 1 takes didn't always go but he was willing to try them. Put pressure on the inexperience at the Sounder backline, and unlucky not to score the high bounce in the box.

    * (MotM)- Big Africa finding a groove. What little in the way of attack Philly possesses runs through Highway 17.

Did Gaddis play left mid after being subbed on?

I actually enjoyed being at the game tonight. The missed PK made me want to dick punch Mo, but the win made up for it. Felt good to celebrate 3 goals tonight, even if 2 were fake. Aside from the goal that was taken back, Chaco's near miss had 134+135 beyond convinced lol I swear I've never seen a better optical illusion. We were dooping for way too long before we realized it was a goal kick.

Also, thanks to the storm last night, my normal 15 min commute to the game took almost an hour. I missed the first 15 min of the game and was NOT happy about it. Made a last minute decision to pay and park in Lot A even though I have SOB lot passes. Figured already missing some of the game, just suck it up and pay so I can get in quicker. Well just so happens I was directed to park in Lot A literally right in front of one of the side streets blocked by a cone. When the game was over I simply got in my car and drove forward right onto 291 and by-passed ALL traffic. SCORE.

    Apparently. Which, yes, is bonkers.

Everyone thought that went in on that side of the field. Union and Sounders fans.
