Keep the stadium. Get rid of everyone and everything else. If anything/anyone ever had any value, it/they are beyond salvage. Union are the turd at the bottom of the toilet that is professional sports in Philadelphia. Start over entirely or please City-for the love of sanity- flush them out of existence !
If you're going for the whole enchilada then ditch the stadium as well. I can think of better places than Chester.
I took one look at the lineup, saw the same guys that just played 120 on Tuesday, and knew it would just be a question of how much. Complete and total garbage. They are not even competitive at this level.
I truly feel sorry for you guys. Sapong played well, constantly a threat on our backline. He had a good, well earned goal, caught our defense kinda asleep after Varynyn's sub. You guys at least could get possession, but you need a better attacking mid to link play up front with Sapong. Edu is a mid, not a defender. How long you guys gonna keep your coach/front office?
Well, I guess LA fans already have half of that kind of sh!tshow going on with the Lakers at the moment. Sorry > <
Not only did I not go to the game even though tickets were 50% off on Stubhub this year. I didn't even watch it. I mean if the FO doesn't care, why should I? I just watched the highlights and that was painful enough. Now I just looked at the standings and although we 18th that is artificially high. We have the worst PPG average at 0.88 of any team in the league and lead the league in negative Goal Differential of -11.
Sapong is as big as Omar in person, very tough matchup, and also thought Zach Pfeffer had some dangerous moments.
CJ played very well given the limited service. He never quit either unlike most of the team. I'd give him the armband in a second but the U would never do it after the off-field issue.
Welcome to the dark side. I missed a few of the goals because I decided to fold laundry rather than watch. If this team was a horse, they'd shoot it. He's been the highlight of the season for me. Which says a lot about the rest of the team considering how many games he's missed. At least it might bring in some new fans from South Philly.
I dozed on and off during the second half after it was 3-1. Managed to wake up for the other two goals and fall asleep. I think what's worse is reading condolences from LA fans. "I thought your jerseys were sharp! What shade of blue is that? Well, keep trying." Eff that noise.
Every time Edu is put at DM or holding mid, he falls asleep. He hates it, but plays better as a defender who is allowed to go upfield every once in a while.
A minute or so before the first goal, Ishizaki drives up the field, turned and passed it into the space where an LA midfielder was waiting to receive the ball and shoot. The first two goals were started/converted by an LA player also just outside the box. So #1 - where was Nogs/Carroll to pick up those people. #2, why haven't we in 5 years been able to run plays like that; instead of these slow half-court buildups? And #3 - when are we going to get someone who can shoot outside the box. Nogs can, but not playing as a DMid.
Any cool pics from the game? At least use the Fanpics app to get your reaction pics to the Sapong goal..
