Should be a fun one, though we’ve had a lot of matches the past couple of weeks.

Does anyone know if Drogba will be traveling with the team?

Drogba is on the injury list as “personal”

Scrappy effort tonight but the club clearly did not have a goal in them.

Can we PLEASE put an end to deploying Moffat as an attacking player? He's still a decent defensive mid but he can't take pressure off of or support Iwasa. I hope Bijev is merely getting some well-deserved rest and is not hurt.

Glad we didn't allow Phoenix to run freely up the middle of our defense this time.

It's too bad Hall had the atrocious penalty kick because, otherwise, he hounded and harrassed Phonix's midfield all night long. Ah well, it was a lousy penalty call anyway.

Rodriguez was stout defensively. He should be a regular starter over Seilor going forward.

I hate to say it, but these "sell-outs" are getting to be a joke. That, or we have a ton of STH's who are happy to dish out serious coin to wait on an MLS franchise. Lots and lots of empty seats on a beautiful night for soccer.

on the telecast, the commentators said The Great DD was off to Russia with a TV Commentating Gig for the BBC - IMHO last night was a case of 2 points lost instead of a point gained - missed PK hurt the team again - don't get me wrong Phoenix had some great opportunities but there were as good as the PK for Sac-Town

Yeah, its pretty bad when your PK doesn't even count as a SOG in the stats, lol.

I was wrong about the " injury list" comment. It was the "unavailable" list that I had seen.

Given that most of the starters had played 120 + minutes only three days prior, i thought we did well on clearly tired legs. My only complaint is why the substitutions came so late. It was obvious some players were getting gassed by the 60th minute, and our TWO substitutes entered in the 72nd and 88th minute.

The game had 0-0 written all over it. They could have played until midnight, and no one was going to score.

And yeah, I was surprised that Elliott chose to hold his subs, with so many players having played 120 minutes Wednesday.

The refereeing annoyed me. Phoenix should have had three or four yellows in the first half: there was some really disgraceful conduct after the (admittedly questionable) PK was called, and I saw both a dangerous two-footed tackle that got no ball, and a blatant tactical foul that drew only a talking-to. We deserved the yellow we got at the beginning of the second half, but Phoenix got away with much worse. They played like they knew they'd get away with murder.
