As long as Brazil don't get combed, they'll be better off than Nigeria, and then would only have to hope that one of the other three groups gives 3rd place at 3pts/-2 or worse. So, yeah, chances of anyone from this group aside from Jamaica going home is pretty damn small.

Fully agree. I read an article that stated that cutting from 32 teams down to 16 is "too steep". What a loaf of bollocks. The whole point of a three game group stage is to allow a.team that had a rough game to be able to recover, but not necessarily two rough games to advance.

Yes, but I like it. Both teams could have scored in multiple occasions, and Debinha, as I had said in a previous thread, is Brazilian's best player by far (that back-heel goal would have been the goal of the tournament, had it gone in). She's a good GK (I have her as my second choice in my Fantasy football team), even for the general standard of this WWC. Only problem: she's too much careless when she plays with her feet (in the match vs Jamaica this costed Gama a kick in the face )
