Look at the goals and the shots on target, plus the two woodwork efforts. We just need to remember that defence is part of the game. We look as nieve as Norwich.

THAT'S the kind of thinking we need... ludicrously optimistic and, tbh, rarely rational.

Like I said before the season, think we can still make 5-6. If we can get the defense sorted. Rudi and fully fit Kante will help.

If this was Sarri you’d be crucifying him.

Don’t sell Luiz to start Zouma if you’re going to play a high line. Don’t come to Old Trafford and play a high line band very attacking against a side that thrives on the counter. Don’t start Barkley and Mount.

the good news we could easily have had 4 or 5 ourselves, the bad obvious, we need Rudy and Kante back stat and Wllians speed and energy

Well at half time I would not have predicted that.

We must be near the bottom of the table.

    Yes we are 19th. Lol

Only the Hammers below us poor old KDB

piss off, this is one game, in which we had several decent chances

i gave Sarri a dozen + before I started on him, and we already look much better and more dangerous than Sarri Ball even without Hazard, Kante, Rudiger, Willian

18 shots for us to 11, 7 on target, 2 posts that was a month of Sarri-ball

IF only Tammy had scored earlier on. We were great for the first 15 mins. I am not a great one for stats, but. . . .We had more possession. We had more shots. We had more shots on target. We had more corners. We lost four fcucking nil. The scoreline flatters them, but they deserved to win. Not the best start from our new manager. Some positives right? Emerson. Mount played well. Pulisic was decent when he came on. Never easy to get a result at old trafford [but this is not a great united team either].

Calling it how I see it.

This was a very tactically naïve approach by Frank.

Emerson was a tiger. Mount best player on the pitch. Thought Abraham did well too. Kovacic ran his socks off and kept the ball well.

It's the senior players who have let the team down today. Dave was MIA for 2 of the goals and burnt for speed on that flank. He's too slow for a high pressing game. Jorginho bypassed too easily far too often, while Barkley and Pedro kept giving the ball away. Pulisic needs to adapt to the physicality of the English game.

Players we need back: Rudiger, Reece James, Kante, Loftus Cheek and Hudson Odoi. We will be fine in a couple of months.

We made a lot of individual errors. To me, Dave was responsible for 2 goals. Zouma one if not two. Mount should have shot. Pedro missed a wide open Giroud. It was just bad..

I thought Dave was poor. I also can't get over just how bad we were in the second half. We were good for 35 minutes and that was it.

There's only so much a coach can do with the given set of players and lady luck not smiling on us. Had Tammy or Emerson scored instead of hitting the posts., it would have been a different game.

Agree on Dave. Not sure I see much fault on Jorginho today though. Barkley was pedestrian today and I thought Pedro was bad too. That's always been my beef with him. He can be totally non existent for such huge stretches.

Couple of other points, we need our veterans back. We need Rüdiger back yesterday. Kante needs to be fully healthy and we need Willian. OMG I said it.
