Players and fans will suffer alike when we meet Burnley on Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Burnley are in very good form now and they're in 7th place! Fantastic job, guys! They're on a 6 game unbeaten streak with a draw and 5 wins on the trot. On the other hand, we haven't done anything like that and we signed Drinkwater for 35 million.

We're playing at Burnley, too. Did I mention that? Also, Barkley is most likely going to start for us. And we lost to them to open the season. And Alonso will be suspended.

We're going to lose this one 2-0.

I hope we get a semi motivated team for revenge from opening the season with a loss to them. Don't want to say what I suspect we will see...

I hope FIFA passes a law to sign players mid-season and we secure Draxler, Asensio, and Dybala by tomorrow morning and Spurs lose all of their remaining matches.

Important factor today: Chelsea have an FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.and Conte will rotate his team here because this is the last chance Chelsea to win something this season.

Yea, this is a pointless match. We ain't catching Spurs, so might as well let the youth play.

Baka plays so I will not be watching there must be a youngster that can play.

I see that Morata and Giroud both play so perhaps Conte is planing on bypassing midfield anyway.

Season ticket renewal day too not really encouraging me to resign. Still as I am 65 next month it will be half price.

Terrible goal conceded and now Moses makes it 2-1.

Hard to reconcile the two Moratas. He just seems defeated this second half of the season. Hoping next season is a fresh start for him. Hoping they can all (at least those that remain) put this awkward, disappointing season behind them.

I thought we played pretty well considering how strong Burley are at home. Made them look ordinary and if not for our amazing striker, would have been out of sight. Ambivalent on Morata as he gets into great positions but his finishing is just abysmal.

    Not quite, but close.

Like I said, his stats are similar to Drogba's first season and I remember fans being extremely hard on Drogba, wanting to sell him in the summer.

Bakayoko has been a complete waste of money. He contributed nothing good nor bad. He was an empty uniform.

Emerson showed good quality and consistency. I wish he'd play more.

    Giroud was good.

Hazard came on and immediately started doing his no look backflicks to players who were not expecting them.

A good three points - that makes 6 away from home in a weeks' time. Burnley are no slouch team this season.

I think something people are forgetting about Morata is this is the first season he's expected to start and play 90 every game. That takes a toll on your body and it needs to adjust. He will be much much better next year. And play like the Morata we saw start the season.

That isn't the concern here. His confidence is in the dumpster. He is a known headcase and it is showing. His misses are insanity for a professional, nothing to do with fitness imho.

I'm not saying it's all fitness, just that it's something people are forgetting. As well as mentally it's different being expected to play and go 90 every game vs his old role. Add that to a new far more physical league, new country, new team, injury, death of friend, etc. There's a lot of things that happened this year. He has immense talent and we'd be foolish to sell him and give up after a year. Next year he will be more like the Morata we saw to start the year then end it.

I am going to reserve judgment. He is almost always in good positions and he gets great opportunities. He just isn't finishing them which is a killer for us and has been. It's frustrating as hell too.

But yesterday Pope got the slightest fingertip on that save. He has to score that .

Was this an issue at Juve and Real? I don't remember reading that.
