So long as he plays better than he did against Ottawa last night.

    Yeah about this post lol.

Hoping he gets back to MLS form, Vasquez, Bradley and Altidore on the field should provide him the space and confidence not not have another horror show.

Edwards is better coming in as a sub if the team is down than as a starter. Especially in the wing back formation Vanney uses. Edwards is not very effective defending. he's more of an out and out left winger, IMO.

5-nil. Likely because Edwards was used as a late sub. :) ;)

The defending from Columbus was atrocious. This could have been 5-0 at the half.

By that same token they could of had 2 or 3 goals by half themselves. We gave them tons of chances in that first half and were lucky not to concede. Once they switched formations the crew gave up. I think Berhalter totally lost their dressing room tonight.

Now lets get serious about Ottawa.

what was with that oven mitt on Artur's hand? It looked like he was in the middle of baking cookies just before they subbed him in.

There's a lot of talk on the Columbus boards about Berhalter's job. The way that they played yesterday suggests that the team has quit on their head coach.

The good thing is that after Wednesday's game, there won't be any more 7:00 weeknight kickoffs.

So you're suggesting Ottawa is going to take the series then?

might not be a bad thing....but, in any event, maybe the suggestion was the final would be a 7:30 or later? ;)

Vasquez is in my opinion the MVP of the season .... SO FAR. Giovinco is the class of the team, along with Bradley's tenacity and Altidore's power....and the balance is pretty good on all sides of the ball, but this guy has added an element of greatness to the team. Assist leader...bagged a couple tonight...and VISION to transition to offense that will benefit our strikers and it took a few games to figure it out, but it isn't unheard of that we can get 3,4,5 goals a game and a big part of that is his ability to move the ball into good spaces, or great passes. He may be the piece that puts us over the top (not that we needed much after last years playoff run that was perfect except for one magnificient save and luck of a penalties)

The Trillium Cup...a meaningless trophy based on a manufactured rivalry. Unless we win it, of course, and then it's awesome.
