Both teams coming off 0-0 opening week draws. I say 2-1 TFC as we get back on track slightly faster than the Union.

with 7 minutes to go in first half....1-nil to the home side and they have missed a penalty too....TFC looking absolutely crap...no rhythm, no cohesion, no ability to string more than 2 passes together and wingers that (in the words of a former coach of mine) "couldnae cross a street".

Fnal couple of minutes of half are event filled....Giovinco goes down injured from a tackle...leaves the match and on comes Ricketts......the free kick is taken, Altidore looks to be pulled down in box...penalty given....Altidore takes it and scores.

    HT 1-1

Credit to Geiger for being consistent I guess but that was a soft one.

Probably a make-up call for not giving Philly a card on the injury to Giovinco

I am gonna go with consistent....the one other attempt Toronto had on net was Giovinco free kick blasted into the wall....free kick was awarded for a similar wrestle manouver...as was their penalty when Haglund pulled their man down in a similar fashion.

We get all over refs for lacking consistency....Mr. Geiger is being very consistent.

71st minute.....skipper takes a free kick quickly...floats a ball into left side of the box....Morrow runs onto it...brings it down nicely, then almost falls over...but slips it past keeper.

EDIT 2 minutes later Sapong finds one of the massive crevices in TFC's back 3 and receives a pass nicely and calmy slips it past Irwin....2-2

If Onyewu isn't already on a yellow, he would've been booked for that high boot. He should be off by now.

    This is terrific

On the game, probably a fair result. 2 road points ain't bad. Seba's only got a contusion, which is a relief.

I'm really looking forward to the VanCity game next week
