Ack terrible result Saturday in San Antonio, now it's on to the cup.

Laredo is a decent PDL side, it won't be a cakewalk but we SHOULD be able to win, moving on to host FC Dallas on the 28th in Round 3.

The awful league campaign so far calls for a Wigan-esque Cup run to even things out lol.

LOL okay - be my guest haha.

Also the last road game we won(at Minnesota on Wed 7/18/12) was the only one I watched at home on my computer. Every other road game since the first leg of the 2011 final, I've either been at a watch party or actually been at the game. /sigh

I am surprised at how poorly the Strikers played....the entire first half, it looked like the team was sleepwalking. Restrepo ran his ass off in the 2nd half and his effort led to that goal...but most of the team continued sleepwalking. To allow a 4th division team who was a man down to score that equalizer was pretty weak. Good thing Laredo ran out of good penalty kickers after round 5 or the Strikers would not be hosting FC Dallas next week.

Am I the only one that feels like last night wasn't a win? How could we get to the point where we don't have the attacking capability (or defensive ability for that matter) to put away a team like the Laredo Heat when they are down to ten men for a large portion of the game? I thought some of our players put in a shift like King, Anderson, and Restrepo. De Mujica was a good addition but don't get me started on Dimitrov...
