Saturday, April 20 • 7:00 PM • WakeMed Soccer Park • Cary, NC Second of two straight road tests for the Strikers. They failed the first miserably, with the house of cards that was the Strikers defense crumbling late in Atlanta this past weekend, falling 2-0 in front of the traveling fans. Carolina has yet to lose, 0-0 in Tampa Bay week one and 2-1 over Edmonton in week two. Tough to be optimistic about this one. Watch party at the Tailgate Show "kudio" for those interested.
As my other post suggested, "tough to be optimistic" is an understatement for this one! Unless Sparky and Walter can pull off some kind of super hero duo effort, I don't see us having much chance here. And this against a team that, on paper at least, isn't really any better than us. But then again, neither were our first two opponents and we only managed 1 point total from those two games. I wonder what you guys would do if like 200 Strikers Likers showed up at the Kudio! LOL
