The season officially gets underway today with a cup match vs St. Pauli. That game *is* on ESPN3/Watch ESPN (a streaming service--subscription required, though many cable systems and internet providers, like U-verse, give it to you as part of their service). The game is at 2:30 EDT. On Saturday, on Fox Sports 2, Gladbach travels to the "other Borussia". The game is at 12:30 EDT. Zieht Bayern die Lederhosen aus!
Do they not care about this game? * Whoever this announcer is, he's enjoying Favre's misery a bit too much for my taste........... Positionally solid, the first 45 saw them utterly inept in terms of attack. No ingenuity, nobody beating a single defender. Totally suffocated and stripped of possession with ease. Every shot blocked or turned away. No corner found anybody but red. Keeper could have set up a cot inside the 6. Had nothing to do. Evaluating the new: * CB's OK so far. * Stindl was sound-but couldn't put his stamp on the game. *****Drmic doesn't seem to know the difference between patient and tentative. He changes everything about the way Gladbach prefer to play when he's in the XI. If that's the plan- #9 has to get more involved. Get the ball and find the play.......go after it a bit before you sit (in the hole).
16 & 11 got their possession on -and that was better.......... BMG 4 FCSP 1 Drmic' moved around a bit, the speed found the space-and I found a new player to love. Stindl had a give and go with #9 slip off the outside of his boot, but when he got his next chance he made no mistake. Traore continued his rich vein of form by channeling last year's end-another strike to bend......... A curler sweeping- St.Pauli girl's weeping, and I sensed that the match met its end. Lars then added some glamor, Brace rifled a box hammer- while Thor's bolt up high left them waving goodbye........... break away in the night, Josip put up some fight ! Else you've filled your Cup quota. Made me pine for Hrgota- (that's ok- not a league game is that right?)
So much happening in my life that its suffocating...let alone sharing here. But i forgot we where playing! Got the good news couple of hours ago...watched the highlights. No so bad...second half really showed hope. Man Ibrahima can teach a thing or two ....to that bald dutch that plays for hollywood..about curve balls behind the box...Hazard may slowly earn my respect for wearing Effe's Armour....and stindle seems like patient with good precision...at least what i saw in the highlights.Have no clue if our D-Line is as promising as last season. On the first goal i dont think Sommer could have done anything.Really like the home kits.
my initial reaction was going to be : "what, you too ? " so some intercessory teamwork all-around appears to be in order. Pray for me and mine as well. The road forward is obscured, and has turned rough and bumpy with some unexpected turbulence.........
Man i used to believe it comes in 3's..in my case joking aside ..its been way past 6...sometimes i like to think its simplty bad luck...sometimes i think maybe i deserve it for some wrongdoing of myself or my ancestors in the family....but Pani Lucky Stricker Huckeye Thanks to all of you for the kind words and support...even if its just words on a message board/Forum ( i know u guys mean it every word of it..but still) Respect to all of you guys!
I'll put in a request for some prayers as well. Spent 19 months working on a soccer project, and then had it blow up in the past couple of months. Good thing is new doors are already opening, but need them to finalize quickly so I can have a job
You Humble me! watching them you love...one by one go ...burns holes even into the toughest of Armour's ....what else is there to say??
Anyone got the actual formation with players from match? I watched out of corner of my eye but had a baby to take care of so wasn't following too close. Schulz and Xhaka in CM then Raffael wide with Stindl in #10 and Traore wide on other side? If so, very interesting.
Sommer Jantchke--Christensen-Schulz-Wendt Stindl-Xhaka Traore-Drmic'-Raffael-Fab *w/#9 a bit advanced was the way they started. Herrman, Dahoud and Hazard were subbed in for Ibra, X and Josip IIRC.
So we got Schalke on the road for the 2nd round of DFB-Pokal. Holy shit!! About tomorrow's season opener in Dortmund: It surely will be an even tougher task without our CB "old hands" Stranzl & Dominguez. Lt's hope our guys manage to show a better performance at Westfalenstadion as it's been the case last season (worst away game for a very long time, although we only lost 0:1). After all, Mr. Kramer won't be able to make them any gifts this time. ;-)) Buona notte.
Oct 24-25: BMG vs Schalke - Bundesliga Oct 27-28: Schalke vs BMG - DFB Pokal They're going to know each others boot sizes by the end of it...
3 down at half....i mean ??? Cant find live stream so couldst even see how it all happened...but if we wrap it up 3-0 at this point am happy! If we go out of this game crashing..like5-6 goals to nothing....its going to leave its mark on the rest of the season...or was it the perfect calling for Favre to see the light??
