Fahad Talib, Ayman Hussein and Ahmed Abdul-Ridha are added to the squad. Bashar Rasan and Mohammed Hameed are injured

Hopefully Fahad gets to start. I liked him with the Olympic team, and considering how weak we are in terms of goalkeepers, it's a good opportunity to give him a chance. Aymed Hussein is an interesting player as well. I hope he gets some game time.

We have many talented goalkeepers like Ahmed Basil, Fahad Talib and Jalal Hassan. We just need to give the GK confidence, and opportunities in friendlies.

At the moment Ahmed Basil (Shorta) seems to be our best GK in Iraq, but I think he will be part of the Olympic team.

Yaser Kasim changed his mind and won't accept the call up.

Absolutely done with this guy. What a primadonna. Mind boggling how somebody who was a benchwarmer on a team that got relegated to the 4th division can be so arrogant.

I hope they'll never give this guy a callup anymore, even if he's playing for Juventus!!

No I wish I was haha.

Mabrook for the win. We were playing average, but I'll take it as this was an historical match, first time ever in Basra and first home game since 2013.

FIFA will soon lift the ban entirely hopefully :)
