FT Iraq 3-0 Chile Nothing new from this team. Yet again we have a bunch of 20 year olds posing as 17 year olds. We beat the U17 Chileans 3-0, but we'd get crushed by their senior team. Hard to feel excited with these teams.
I don't know if it's possible to cheat at this level. All participating players are tested by MRI scans.
Dawood missed penalty in 90th minute, could of been 4-0 . By the way I though this team had all legal ages?
Not every player is tested, so there's plenty of room to cheat. Apparently Dawoud was born in 97 so he's 20 years old. Remember Sherko played at the U17 world cup as well, and his actual age is known to be about 3 years over.
Honestly didn't know that. Thanks for the link. Very good news in that case. I knew it was harder for age fraud at this level, but I was sure that not all players were tested.
The scans managed to find 26 Nigerian players overage and 0 Iraqi players. Surely we're not cheating then? If we were cheating then surely at the very least 1 player would be caught, especially as some are supposedly 3 whole years overage...
