Left Hand Brewing in Colorado does some great stuff and Rye on the Prize is one of them. Nice and red and grainy. Burst of flavor, but could be a bit high in alcohol. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/418/235022/ A blackberry porter? What? I have been loving porters - and this one doesn't disappoint. Mid-carbonation with a berry to chocolate to cherry to chocolate finish. Like a red wine; complex and something you won't slam down. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/14967/59545/ 16.8% percent you want? Try Avery's The Beast. An oak-aged ale that may be more of a curiosity and discussion piece than a go-to beer. Too big for one glass, you'll want to share this with friends. Big flavor and big booze. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/30/15619/ Not getting enough fruits? Try Founders' Rubaeus. They add raspberries during 5 stages of beer production and its smooth and refreshing. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/1199/227533/ Tried all the October-themed brews? Have you tried Ayinger's Marzen? It's dark, creamy, malty, and just a bit bitter. Put it all together with a hint of citrus and you've got the perfect, smooth oktoberfest beer. Well rounded, it's an all day drinker that hits the sweet spot of a traditional German brew. https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/39/1361/
love how we just ditch the game intro and go strait to beer pairing. appropes. all in on left hand, and the Ayinger.
I think some are giving Man Poo way too much credit. They're off to a worse start this season than last under Louis van Douche. Would like to see us win and sort of "legitimize" the 3-4-3 as well as verify the fact that we are still a top 4 side. Important game... plz don't give us another Arsenal/Liverpool type performance.
I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to procuring stuff. I drive long distances and also have like-minded friends who grab all kinds of crazy stuff to share. The NYC area is filled with specialty shops, so I'm kind of lucky. A lot of my local places have great variety.
Jose will bunker for the point and try for a counter goal and 3 points. De Gea, again, is their best player.
after living in Seattle, San Francisco, and no Denver, i've been lucky with culture and selection in this regard, kind of forget that not everyone has it.
In Atlanta right now for work. Sitting at a pub called Manchester. It's littered with Yanited shit....
By the way, the club is holding a huge banner for Matthew Harding. It's been 20 years since that day. And Roman paid for the banner. Here's a good read on Harding. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor...ering-chelsea-legend-matthew-harding-12050977
I remember the exact time and moment I heard about it, both the evening of the crash (such things are pretty rare in the UK so the accident alone was newsworthy) and then the awful morning news report when they named Harding and others. Sitting in a Geography GCSE class completely zoned out after a zombified walk to school. Still shocking. He was such a breath of fresh air for the club at a time when, prior to his arrival it was about saving the bleeding pitch FFS and a proper fan that we all connected with, regardless of station. Universally loved by all of us (except Bates who felt that Harding stole his thunder as club saviour). It's really difficult to get across just how different everything was back then. And not with too much fondness either, a lot of it was proper sh*t. The crowd sizes, a significant minority of the fans, the reputation, the quality on the pitch. But change with the 3 H's, Harding, Hoddle and Gullit (yes, I know), it was unreal and Harding was the catalyst. Thanks for posting this!
Probably a draw between two teams that are not as great as they once were and really cannot afford to lose right now and as neither manager is in a position to lose this game has draw written all over it. It would be great for Conte and Chels to win this one and let Jose know how boring he is but it is not likely and if Hazard cannot raise his game for this one then maybe we need to find a player who can for next season. and for the beer? I would say in honour of your next American President then it has to be the OPB from Seattle. Original Pussy Beer. Made from yeast from Ladies. . .Only in America.
One of my favorite goals of all time. Joe Cole at the height of his powers. That move to fake out half the defense and then the finish. Sublime.
His back heel against them in this fixture in November 2009 was quite nice as well. I'm still bitter about Jonny Evans' Cantona against Drogba's chest that broke his rib and Drogba getting a yellow card for it. I hope we stick it to them 1999 style.
