    The field looked absolutely soaked with splashes coming up from the sod in different places. A total bummer for Loftus Cheeks and Chelsea.

    To be honest, I have never seen how that kind of field is really better than good turf fields. Seams, slow rolls, big divots, just a freaking mess. The game is NOT the same, turf field may be faster than Premier league grass, but I bet it is closer in speed than the sod that is put down over the normal Gillette turf.
