Wow, just wow. I could see an argument that it wasn't a PK, but that has to be red.

    Well then... =)

Don't see how it wasn't DOGSO but then it very possible that it should have been a FK instead of the PK.

    it's a meaningless friendly
    ...
Given what has been allowed to go unpunished in this tournament no one can be surprised

Guess Haimoudi didn't have the balls today.

Also love how there were 0 comments at kickoff, but 7 within 5 seconds of the PK.

So I'm sure everyone is in agreement about the correct call there. So the question is what did Hamoudi see or think he saw that led him to give only a yellow?

really strange , he first tried to reach into his right pocket for the red card but after a couple of seconds changed his mind and reached for his shirt pocket for the yellow

He saw FIFA's instructions in his mind, combined with a sprinkling of "producing a spectacle"

must have missed the text in invisible ink that says a DOGSO warrants just a yellow card in the 1st minute of the match during the world cup

Oh, well. This match doesn't really mean anything. I'll just ignore DOGSO.

This was the most obvious DOGSO of all of the fouls so far in the World Cup. The stands would have cleared on a red card.

I think if the Netherlands pull the same stunt, we would have seen a red.
