flag / alerting the ref, didn't happen until after the second shot. They just showed a pretty good slow mo.
Maybe it’s because I was looking for the words but on the replay showing the AR he looks like he says “offside”
Just think how different things would be had Collina taken the extra 45 seconds to explain the delayed offside flag during the pre-WC press conference. All of the incorrect statements about the ARs keeping their flag down reference back to that poor explanation from Collina.
Was clearly an indirect free kick. He called offside and properly delayed the flag til the scoring opportunity was over. No debate. (offside call is debatable though)
Yes. And ARs have also been waiting and waiting and waiting all tournament to raise the flag in case it ends up being a goal.
I realize he was calling the OS. But he was horribly wrong and I no longer have faith VAR would correct it.
Wow, that FIFA instruction must be pretty dogmatic because Cakir is not reffing like he normally would.
Textbook example of the revenge foul by Croatia - player thought he had been fouled at other end, came back and took down Young for England. Ever see this in your matches? Besides all the time, I mean.
While I'd like to think that I've cautioned revenge fouls every time, there are times that I have probably been alert to the foul, whistled quickly and then told the offender to stop being stupid.
lovren complaining to ref at half, apparently unaware he was gifted at least one if not two non-cautions that half
Why do they even bother with a check on set pieces for holding? Wasting everyone's time. We all know no penalty will be given.
This!!! Here we have one of the top five CRs in the world and he won't even card obvious rough play. Disgusting.
Pardon me, but doesn't that show Kane exactly even with the defender? no playable surface past the defender, ties go to the attacker, etc. Are you saying that's offside? If so, please edumacate me
