Wow - Irrati (VAR) has about a 1300 mile trip to get from France/Uruguay today in Novgorod to this match in Sochi tomorrow.

They must really like him as VAR.

All of the VARs are in one location from Moscow.

Well FRD is clearly no longer a cautionable offense.

Yeah—any other place than this WC that’s an easy caution.

The players in this game seem a bit more respectful of the referees decisions than in the last few matches, at least so far.

What exactly constitutes OFFINABUS in this setting? 2-3 rounds of "f*** off!" seem not to impress.

Why would you expect F off to be a send off when Rolando’s F you, after he was cautioned was not? At this level it s a realy, real

Well I was in favor of giving that one, too. But yes obviously these are far from the situations we find ourselves in on Sunday mornings.

I don’t love it if that we the standard at that level. If it were a set standard, players wouldn’t do it. But the powers that be aren’t willing Tom set that standard, and individual refs at that level can’t do it themselves. I suspect there are things Sid to the ref I. Every game of the WC that almost all of us on here would toss for in the games we do.

Here's how bad it has got.
Half-time ad on ITV, the bookies in England are now giving 14-1 for more than 2 cards in the 2nd half :(.
They know the same as everyone else! Disgraceful really.

I know at least on ref on BS that would have had to abandon a couple games for dropping below 7 a side.

    I don't think he's a ref - if we're thinking of the same poster.

Does the announcer’s world contain a different physics than the rest of us? If the ball was completely across the line, how could it come out like that?
