Navas for Biscuits. Xavi and Xabi don't need him clogging things up in there.
With Navas to actually serve it in from wide, Torres might get some traction.

The best goald chances were for Portugal. I don't know where you see that. Clearly, you only know Portugal from this world cup.

Clearly this match could go either way right now, but dammit I want to see an ARG/ESP semi final if only for the split screen shot of Diego and Del Bosque.

It would be like The Tasmanian Devil vs. Droopy the Dog

This World Cup is what they are playing, in case you missed the memo.

You have very little chances to see argentina there

While Torres has not done anything useful, the player who has been most disappointing for Spain IMO is Iniesta. His touch and passes have been off and if he doesn't show better form in the 2nd half, Iniesta is the player that I think should be subbed out for Spain, with Fabregas taking his place.

Torres lined up for the 2nd half.

And what's with Busquets having "Sergio" on his shirt. Who does he think he is? Madonna?

I realize that we still play very well even when we don't control possession, but I still would like to see a little more possession from Portugal's side. They could have had 10 more shots on goal with just 5% more possession.

The same reason Cesc has "Cesc" on his shirt...they are headcases, no offense to them but one name is the "cool" thing.

You can't really expect to dominate pos against Spain type of play

    OMG WTF !!!!

anyone seen the fans inbetween the halfs ? saw an african with a bump attached to his vuvuzela and he was bowing it by bumping with his hand , anyone else caught that ?!?!?

isnt it against the rules to do that ? i could swear i saw someone post a list of rules for the fans before entering the stadium , one of them was prohibiting that sort of thing , sigh now i know how they are blowing these fking things the entire 90min ....

note to mods : if this isnt the thread to discuss it ill post it in the General WC Forum

Ah, its funny because as I'm writing that post I'm thinking "he USED to have Cesc on there, but I think he changed it to Fabregas...hmm." Anyway, good call.

Regardless it just makes guys look silly if you change whats on your back imo.

No big deal I suppose just seems telling of their personality.
