Having worked with Geiger before, I am super proud of him... and for what the whole crew is doing for USSF.

This NJ born ref says Go Geiger!

"Ball kid" seems like a weirdly informal term, if that graphic is by FIFA.

Is FIFA mandating sleeve lengths as well?

No I just think that's the cut of the jersey. If you notice both GK jerseys are different sleeve lengths.

Wow. He has a solid VAR too. I wonder what the implications are for Mark in further round appointments with this game. Although, Colombia and England are both good sides. I don't know if I see either side making it to the finals, although the winner of this match will play Sweden. And that would put them into the semi's.

American AR's too are almost second to none. Soooo I know that played a part in Webb getting the final in 2010.

One of England, Colombia, Russia, Croatia, or Sweden will be in the final. These are arguably the two best teams on this side of the draw.

Sorry, I was being sarcastic with the amount of discussion about sleeve lengths there has been.

    Looking forward to this game.

Colombians standing on top of the ball: one of the things I hate the most that players do.

After yesterday's example in Belgium's counter, we'll all be watching for this.

I laughed! (And have been secretly hoping to get a picture of WC refs wearing different sleeve lengths . . . )

As we all know Geiger is excellent at those handballs on the ground. Great call!

One can't expect the AR to help much there. Maybe the 4O but that's just got to be all R.

What? It's his line. An absurd proposition that the 4O or R can see when the whole ball crosses the line.
