Except we have more than enough quality and this bunch of idiots know how to prove it and then disprove within days. God damn. Bunch of headcases.

I don't think we do. Look at where the goals come from.

The sad part is had we won, it is not out of realm of possibility that Pool draws this weekend. They won't lose.

Hypothetically, if Pool lose on last day and win the CL, they still kick us out right?

No, We will have 1 more point than them if they lose. 73 vs 72. But they will kick us out like we did Spurs in 2012. Not sure if rules changed.

It no longer kicks a team out in that situation. If Liverpool finished 5th, won the Champions League, and Arsenal had won the Europa League then the 4th place team would have been out as there is a maximum of 5 teams from a single country in the Champions League.

What gives with all the rotation yesterday? Right off the back of a win against 'pool?

    Bizarre from Conte.

Any reason not to believe him? The match was played 2 days back and we expended a lot of energy. It is not just exhaustion but risk of injuries due to it with the FA cup final looming. 2nd string should be good enough to beat HT. It is not like City's first choice could beat them either. I do credit them for their defense and we tried our best.

We are charged by the FA for our players confronting Lee Mason at halftime.

My frustration is with the players and not so much Conte. You're right though. £60m Morata should have been enough.

The players are frustrating. Conte certainly is as well.

What was it.. those back to back games where teams like Bournement had a clear plan of attack to make our 3 man back line look absolutely ********ing stupid? Conte went from tactical mastermind to unflinching in his approach is almost every game. Really silly. We got figured out by everyone this season.. a few adjustments would have definitely handed us a few points.

Truth be told, Morata was doing great til he got hurt. The Luiz situation was a curve-ball as well.. Baka was flat out unfortunate for all involved. Drinkwater being hurt was shitty too. As much as anyone wants to make fun of his signing, he's a perfectly good squad player. Mishandling Bats completely was dumb too.

Overall.. injuries hurt us, the players let us down plenty, Conte was tactically inflexible and his attitude was also (imo) garbage - we didn't need his constant moaning.

Morata really looks useless. There was another semi-good chance that he messed up yesterday when he went around the keeper. Very torn on him. Seems like a mental issue with him as the talent is there but I wonder if he has irreparable damage done to him like Torress.
