    Am i the only one that wont be shocked if france makes it to the next round? Hopefully not, they are just emberassing themselves.

    I wonder why FFF still has Domenech on board after all these years.

    It's sad to see a team with such pontential ruined by such an inept coach.

    Right now Uruguay is on top, a third goal would put Mexico on top (thanks to the 1x1 draw versus a 0x0 draw).

    How so, if you would have asked anyone before the World Cup Final game between France and Italy who will be better in 2010? The US or France. Everyone and their mothers would have said France and you would have been slapped instantly.

    As an Irish American, this has been a really hard game to root for either side, wanting both of them to lose and not advance :-(

    Yes and Mexico has a goal against. Mexico is at +2 goal difference, Uruguay is at +3, Mexico has 3 for/1 against, Uruguay has 3 for/0 against.

    I think that's actually good for France. I don't see Mexico playing for a draw if they're not in first place, but I think Uruguay might. None of that matters if France doesn't rout South Africa, though.
