Yeah, this version seems to be COMPLETELY different. Only similarity I'm seeing is the name and the fact that it looks like she'll end up horribly disfigured.
I know, I meant within the context of the show? I thought the comic book version of Madame Masque was a contemporary of Tony Stark, not of Howard Stark. What I refer to in terms of the Hedy Lamarr stuff is that she was an actress who had a past as an inventor (of military technology). The frequency hopping technology that Sousa referred to was actually invented by Lamarr and her then husband.
I caught up on the show last night. I liked how they brought the Dr back in. Too good a character to lose. Then the idiot, arrogant boss comes in from NY and messes things up. But is he finally getting it. Howard Hughes, Oh wait, gets more into the act. It's still fun.
Yeah, looked like one of the older classy places around LA. Faux English country cottage. Confused me for a moment. I thought they were "saying" she was brought up in the states. I like some of the scenes of Griffith Park observatory. Had a couple of fun dates in the planetarium there back in the day. That was where the finale from "Rebel Without a Cause" was shot.
This show has improved. The wife and I cut out after the 4th episode of season one and decided to start give it another try this week. Soooo, Netflix doesn't have Season 1? Disappointing.
This show really needs to knock it off with the 2-hour episodes. I can barely get through one hour of it.
They have to. They are burning through their remaining episodes because of the return of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.".
I'm not happy about this either. Though at least the double episodes they have featured so far made sense narratively.
You guys are missing out. AOS got a lot better last year, and this year. I for one will be glad when AC is over, for me this season has been very, very weak.
The AoS episode this season where Jemma was stuck on the alien planet was excellent. The Inhumans storyline has been a little bit and miss for me, but the show has improved from the 1st half of season 1.
Double episode again tonight. They're showing us mercy with a single episode finale next week (March 1). Agents of SHIELD begins March 8 with -- you guessed it -- a double episode.
