I had no idea that there was already a thread for this. Perhaps a mod can merge them? Who is moderating this sub-forum nowadays?
So glad it's back! Jarvis' wife will feature this season. Supposedly quite prominently. Dottie will be back! Angie will only return later on in the season, though. I'm pretty sure that will disappoint quite a lot of fans.
OK, I'm going to watch this. Which is contrary to my statement about marvel series being for 14 year olds with no sense of reality. Just wishing that they had super powers so they wouldn't feel inferior at school. But agent Carter is one healthy woman, so it's all right to fantasize. Puts me in the dirty (minded) old man category.
California is a classic noir setting. I hope they manage to do more with it than "True Detective" season two managed.
Loved the premiere! Just the 1940s garb, cars and production design alone put me in a good mood. It was a pleasant surprise when they actually opened with another Peggy vs. Dottie scene.
Damn. Half of the audience that tuned into the season one premiere or half of the audience the show ended with last year?
Too bad, I thought it was better than anything from last season. More compelling plot, primarily, but better execution too.
Did my DVR count in the ratings? I caught up with the show last night and have to agree with the comments here. I lived in LA from the mid 60's to mid 70's. enjoyable part of my life. I love the way they seamed the old colored films into the show. The cars, clothes etc. The characters have fleshed out more as well and have definite rolls. The show certainly revolves around the central character....and why not?
I think it's pretty clear that the black goo (Element Zero?) will have turned him into some horrible version of himself. They spent too much time building him up as a love interest for Peggy to just be done with him already.
Liked the third episode too. So Whitney Frost is meant to be a vague reference to Hedy Lamarr in this show?
