You beat me to it. Literally 5 weeks after it debuted. It must have had incredibly low ratings or it's been a decision long coming. Maybe we see him guest star in season 3 of LC and then a team-up series (probably in 2020).
What kind of bullshit is this? Season two is actually good! We better get a spin-off series in return. "Daughters of the Dragon" or "Heroes for Hire".
Yeah, IF is cancelled, but that awful JJ gets a third season. That 2nd season of JJ was the worst of any Marvel Netflix show, including s1 of IF. They still haven’t given LC a season 3.
Supposedly it's only a matter of time. I wonder if one or both of Danny Rand and Colleen Wing will get their own story arc in Luke Cage season three. I can't imagine that they wouldn't want to further mine that Misty Knight Colleen Wing dynamic.
For me season 1 of IF was the worst. But JJS2 hurts more considering how incredible season 1 was. I guess I have it to IF S1. It was pretty fun and light.
Seven episodes into "Iron Fist" season two. Still liking this. I especially liked the episode which was basically "Woman on the Rung" with Colleen Wing and Misty Knight.
I meant "Woman on the Run", obviously. My one caveat is still too much Meachums, even though I have (surprisingly) more time for "Ward Meachum recovering addict" than for "Joy Meachum criminal mastermind".
I'm done with "Iron Fist" season two. I liked it, though I thought the ending of the season was weird. I also thought that we would have seen Walker's third personality by the end of it. That was clearly something they were saving for season three. My revised rankings: The Punisher Daredevil season two Daredevil season one Jessica Jones season one Luke Cage season one Iron Fist season two The Defenders Jessica Jones season two Iron Fist season one Luke Cage season two And with that, I just realized that I watched 44 episodes of Marvel Netflix shows in less than a month.
Misty Knight and Colleen Wing are the most awesome part of this second season. The actors work very well together. I hope they (Netflix, Marvel) know what they have and give it a chance to flourish, even if it isn't in "Iron Fist" itself.
Watched the first two episodes of "Daredevil" season 2. I like Joanne Whalley as the nun. Who is super-fed supposed to be?
I just arrived from work. On episode 1. Glad to see the flashback to season 2 finale when he revealed to Karen that he was DD
"Luke Cage" has been cancelled too. Netflix cancels 'Luke Cage' a week after dropping 'Iron Fist' https://t.co/9aa7pnFD9D— Engadget (@engadget) October 20, 2018 There are of course many reasons why Disney might be doing this. One obvious one is for them to return those IPs back to their own streaming service. Another might be that "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" are turned into their own spin-off series with characters from both shows.
Three episodes into "Daredevil" season 3. I had to laugh a bit at the "Hitman" level in the parking garage.
Season 3 of DD (I'm on episode 10, but gotta leave for work) is pretty damn GOOD. As good as the 1st. I'm shocked to hear Luke's cancellation. Especially as I wanted to see the current storyline play out before the Heroes for Hire teamup.
I'm five episodes into "Daredevil" season two. I'm liking it fine, though one thing I am still waiting for is for this show to delve into Karen Page's past. There was at least a hint before the start of this season that we would get that story this year. Unless it changes in the remaining episodes, I don't see that being the case.
Episode 10 my friend. what's up with the Netflix series and there always being some "tormented and psychologically unsound federal officer" trope?
Daredevil episode six (Move your mouse to reveal the content) Daredevil episode six (open) Daredevil episode six (close) Do they ever explain how an F.B.I. agent attains the skills to defeat Daredevil and effectively become Bullseye?
I'm up to episode eight of "Daredevil" season three. This is fine so far, but the last five episodes would have to be epic for this to become my favorite of the three seasons.
For me, I think season 2 (with The Punisher) was massively overrated. I'd say season 3 is tied with season 1. It's as good as that, but some parts are of course "same old, same old; which is the whole trying to keep things fresh over 13 episodes.
I might be wrong about this - I still have enough episodes to go that I don't have a full picture yet - but so far, it seems like both Daredevil and the Kingpin are roughly repeating their story arcs from season one. I had hoped for something a bit more original in that regard.
Watched episode nine and ten of Daredevil season three. Decent stuff. Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler I liked the Rolo Tomassi scene at the beginning of episode nine. At the same time, after seeing the plastic all over the walls and floor and the fact that it has been a recurring motif in terms of murders this season, I don't think what happened next will have been a huge surprise to anyone watching. The Karen Page flashback episode was also well done. Deborah Ann Woll is a really good actress who rarely gets a chance to truly shine on this show. I did think the timing of the cliffhanger at the end of episode ten was a bit suspect. How on earth could Matt get from the Presidential hotel to the church in time to stop Pointdexter/Fake Daredevil/Bullseye? At best, minutes passed after he was talking to Shelby in the surveillance room.
