Btw Jessica Jones season 2 started filming back in April while Luke Cage season 2 started filming earlier this month. It definitely seems we will be getting 3 series a year going forward. I's imagine DD season 3 to start filming by year's end.
I'm almost done with episode 4. And then I need to grab some breakfast and head to work. The fight in episode 3 was AMAZING.
as long as you watched both seasons of DD, you shouldn't be too lost. Iron Fist ties a lot into The Defenders, but the gist of that is "Danny Rand is a rich guy who spent 15 years training at some mystical temple and comes home to New York to reclaim his name/fortune and he battles the Hand". You're caught up now
I came in here to ask the same question. I have little interest in watching "Iron Fist" but I do like the premise of "The Defenders".
There is a Defenders-specific thread - should the discussion be here or over there? The less you see of Iron Fist (the character), the better, so yeah, maybe skip it.
I couldn't put my finger on it at the beginning ... all soft and acoustic-y as it was. Wonder what it took for Netflix and/or Marvel to license a flipping Metallica song ...
Looks like Marvel has been shelling out the money for songs in their trailers the past year, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash...
I think it's Netflix. Don't forget the Stranger Things trailer. They had Thriller... Michael Jackson ain' cheap.
Psyched about this. Do I need to see "Iron Fist" and "The Defenders" first? I'll probably watch "The Defenders" eventually anyway, but I have very little interest in "Iron Fist".
