I mean Logan was decent, but when they started putting it onto the same pedestal with TDK...it made my blood boil.
churchill pretty much covered it, if you're interested check out Planet Hulk, it's the story line from there, which lead into World War Hulk, where Hulk and his followers come to Earth to ******** shit up.
GOTG was one of the most enjoyable films i have watched at a cinema And ultimately that's why I and many others go to the movies
To each his own. I really wanted to like it because I think Chris Pratt is a great actor, but it just didn't do it for me.
Guardians of the Galaxy wasn't great but it was very fresh in a saturated wold of comic shows and movies
I didn't see Logan, I was talking about Guardians. Well, assuming you meant Guardians, you've already said you don't like funny superhero movies, and so not really surprising.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" managed to stand out among the bunch and it was quite funny and charming. But by sheer courtesy of their formulaic nature, there is a limit to how good these films can be. Even Nolan's trilogy is ridiculously overrated imho.
861544648686182400 is not a valid tweet id So Tom Holland just did this on "Lip Sync Battle". Greatest Spiderman ever!
I thought it was awesome. Some of the humor was a little forced but I don't think it detracted too much, totally enjoyable movie and the crowd was really into it. Basically if you liked the first one you'll probably like this one. And if you didn't like the first one...you won't, as it's pretty much more of the same.
Agreed I loved the first one and really liked the second one In both films i left the cinema very entertained Can't wait for the third installment
So I finally got started on "Luke Cage". Only three episodes in, but I really like it. I think I would rank it about on the same level as "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil" season 1. So far I still prefer "Daredevil" season 2, but there is still a lot of "Luke Cage" left to say anything definitive. I really like the cast, so much so that Mike Colter is a bit outshone by the supporting cast. I think most people rightly raved about Mahershala Ali, but Simone Missick is also an incredibly charismatic performer.
Up to episode 6 of "Luke Cage". I really liked the little reference and joke to and about Luke's comic book outfit. I did feel they dragged the resolution (well I guess there is more to come since there are seven more episodes) of the Cottonmouth plotline a bit out.
Yay! I'm up to episode ten on Luke Cage and it's starting to drag a bit. The first half of the season was better than the second half (so far). The show was deflated a little bit once Cottonmouth disappeared from the scene. Diamondback is a much more boring villain.
https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/la...enforo-edition.1943424/page-251#post-35510558 My concluding thoughts on "Luke Cage". A shame that there is such a substantial difference in quality between the first seven episodes and the last six episodes.
He's a much more typical comic book villain (which makes sense, since he's based on a comic book character). The actor who played Cottonmouth was really good, that's a big part of what made his loss so huge.
