Yes. And he's out of contract at the end of the season after what I think most would consider a successful season. I'm sure a chance for first team playing time/spot on the first team will come up in contract negotiations.
Fossey didn't play in a recent U23 preseason friendly. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2017/july/15/u23s-braga-b-2-2-fulham It's been awfully quiet around him lately. Perhaps he's still recovering from the injury that kept him out of the U20 WC. However, there's no online evidence that he's signed a contract past this summer.
Fossey is still injured - he incurred his injury in March, and 'broke down' again when he joined the USA u20 squad in May. It has been a long journey, rehabilitating from the injury. Fossey is still contracted with Fulham until June 2018 - he is expected to fit for play towards the end of next month. Watch this space!
Rehabilitation took longer than initially expected, but now back in training. Back stronger than before, both physically and mentally. Waiting to watch Fossey's comeback match
Much respect to the young man and best of luck as he continues with the process. He was missed at the World Cup.
