That seems about right for Rodriguez. Hopefully he gets off to a good start - a season-long loan can be a looooong year if things don't go well. On the bright side, that Rodriguez was loaned out immediately after signing and loaned out relatively early in the offseason suggests that he's not just a last-minute impulse decision by Chemnitz.
Chemnitz (previously known as Karl-Marx-Stadt) isn't exactly the most vibrant of places to live, but can at least can lay claim to being home to the 2nd largest bust in the world - a 23'3" tall head of Karl Marx. Unsurprisingly, the world's largest bust is in Russia...Lenin. But I guess @sidefootsitter knows more about that one.
Michael Ballack is from KMS. When Sheva joined Chelsea, neither of them spoke much English ... but they could still converse in Russian.

Hasn't made the squad for any of their games yet. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...tzer-fc-63/78511/spieler_rodriguez-mario.html
Rodriguez hasn't shown up in the 18 for Chemnitz this season - until today. He's in the starting lineup and going 90 in a game in which Chemnitz are down 1-0 late.
Rodriguez made the 18 for the second time this season, but he didn't get off the bench. Chemnitz disbanded their reserve team after the 2014-15 season, so it's first-team minutes or bust for Mario. If the club did have a reserve team, it would be playing at a lower level than Gladbach II, anyway.
Made the bench again but stayed there. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/..._sv-wehen-wiesbaden-122_chemnitzer-fc-63.html
Mario made his second appearance of the season, subbing in in a loss to Jann George and Jahn Regensburg. It was his first appearance since the start on Oct. 1. 73' 3. Wechsel: #Rodriguez kommt für #Türpitz in die Partie. #CFCSSV #CFC— Chemnitzer FC (@ChemnitzerFC) December 10, 2016
