    yeah this one should be interesting. whitehead has been there for some time now, but they seem very keen on marcus.

    well i believe this is good for marcus. if whitehead slips a couple of more times then he could stick his foot in the door.

    This is a great move for Hahnemann whether whitehead slips or not. Pardew ( the manager) has described MH as the best offensive keeper outside the EPL, said the keeper position clearly lacked competition and waxed poetically about how MH would be important in staying up.
    Whithead is a loyal guy ( i think he may be a local guy, as well ) , but they've never been too hot on him. MH will play a lot for Reading. Let's hope he plays really, really well.
