Carlos played the entire match in Frankfurt's 1-0 victory over Gladbach. Solid showing from him.

 

Watched the match, he was good aside from two nervy moments early in the game. Playing the same RCB role in a back 3 that Osorio used him in Confeds. Makes me think Osorio should get some credit for his move. The only difference is that Kovic used actual fullbacks as wingbacks instead of more centerbacks lol. Kovic for Mexico NT?!?!

 

If Eintracht makes CL, I'd be down to see Kovac coach the NT after Osorio gets ragdolled in Russia 2018.

 

As good as Kovac can be or not be for Mexico, it's kinda sad our main requirement to coach our National Team is "be a guy who uses common sense."

And that it sadly makes complete sense.

Came across an article earlier this week saying that Salcedo got called up for the October games

 

Carlos not even on the bench against Leipzig. Apparently there was an incident between him and Kovac recently:
