well, Zapata is a more realistic option as Pekerman plays him mor
So do I but Pekermas kind of prefers Zapata over him, so I wanted to make it more realistic.

Barrios-Sanchéz makes our team look lack of ideas. If we need to close a game or play for a tie, then ok. Otherwise, I would never play them together.

We have two great matches in March... I figure it wouldn't be difficult to set up a match with Italy, Netherlands or the US, plus one or two qualified teams in May or June.... I wouldn't judge our federation on this issue just yet...

My understanding was that a friendly match earlier this year was postponed, but the one in March next year is all but confirmed.... Maybe I'm reading it wrong...

    Haha why ?
When they announced the French game they said we would play Portugal in Spain.

Portugal doesn’t want to play at home. Then we said Miami but they said Cristiano wouldn’t go if played in Miami. Now they said the game will be in Spain.

Hopefully we can pull a non FIFA day in January and Feb to test out our backup goalies

So Spain, Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Croaita, Serbia, and Sweden don't have an opponent for the 27th of march. Hell Portugal has no friendlies announced yet and I am hoping that they are going to be our rumored second opponents.

From all those countries, I'd go with Sweden as we may play them in 1/4 finals.
Germany is not going to be the first in their group as everyone is expecting.

Would love to see Lerna/Barrios tried together. Or Barrios beside Cardona playing deeper, with James/Cuadrado/Falcao/Duvan the attackers.

Decent enough team I like. But I would've prefered another strong european team.

It is one of those things that benefits both teams. Colombia get's to play a team that was in the same Qualifying Group as Japan. And Australia plays a team that they believe is good preparation for Peru.

Doesn’t Australia play more like an England for 2nd round? They don’t play like a Asian team.

They are also not cake walks. Remember them being issues when they played 5th place SA team to qualify

Even if their style is a bit different it is tradition to play a team that is from the same qualifying zone as your future opponents as sparring partners.

They can be a challenge for sure. They fought tooth and nail against Chile and gave them all they could handle in the Confederations .

Australia had very good players in the past like kewell, Viduka, the goalie and Cahill in fitness

Today aren't as good when they eliminated Uruguay

    I want to see

    --------------------Ospina
    Arias---Davinson-Mina----Fabra
    -------------Sánchez---Barrios
    --Cuadrado - James--José Izquierdo
    ---------------------Falcao

And I would like to see Colombia go to a 4222 anf bring in Chara for Izquierdo and place him next to James and Teo next to Falcao...
And at some point in the second match it would be nice to see James, Cuadrado, Cardona and Chara on the field at the same time with Falcao in front of them..

Chara speed will be very helpful in World Cup games where speed are crucial so he should get a chance in both friendlies he should at least get to sub into one in the early part of second half and start the other ... Izquierdo should get a chance to start and sub into early second half same as Chara, Izquierdo has been doing very well.. He just got two assists last week...

And Felipe Pardo and Gio Moreno should get at least the last 10 mins in these matches

    Sucks Cardona is out....

I'd like see Teo come in and team up with Falcao in one match but in the other it would be good to continue to partner Falcao and Duvan at least for a little... Then give Bacca some time up top and then take out Duvan and give Muriel some time up top next to Bacca...

Y luego probar Bacca junto Duvan...
Y luego sacar Duvan y meter Muriel y probar no como extremo pero delantero al lado de Bacca...
