I actually almost posted this picture. Though I doubt True Crew is a rocker, and I'm not sure how Mod our mods are.
Unfortunately for PSV and MLS the Crew will be in Columbus in 2019. I know PSV has committed to a toxic, discarded piece of business metric friendly dirt for his "team" to play in front of young, digitally saavy spenders with income that will spend profitable business metric income on soccer instead of craft beer, beard trimmings, plaid, coffee and odd food made from exotic animals and non-GMO genetically modified veggies. No way they have anything ready for the 2019 season.
Eh, I think he might be so desperate to get of of Columbus that he'd play in a HS stadium for a year or two. Or Round Rock (minor league baseball stadia have been used before in MLS).... Hope not, but it would not surprise me.
What you talking about Willis? Grateful Dead, Beatles, Led Zep, Stones, Clapton (all itetations), and Neil Young (all itetations) are all in my top 10 all-time. Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, & James Brown are the others. #10 is kind of up for grabs. Who, Floyd, Jimi, Janis, Stevie Wonder, George Clinton, the Boss, Van Morrison, Allman Brothers, Marvin Gaye, Sly, Aretha, Blondie, Fleetwood Mac, Yes, Clash, etc.
The court case will fail as the Modell Law is poorly constructed and unconstitutional. At best, it's a delay or nuisance tactic. If the battle is won, it will be the result of Austin relo plans unraveling, and that could still happen.
Do you go around posting this at intervals in different threads, hoping that you'll get a different reception?
All I'm saying is that one path is more likely than another. I don't know why people have such heartburn over that.
How about: Control the Fre? One week, announce everyone attend. Next week, announce boycott, everybody in the parking lot. Do that for about 1/2 of the home games, then Boycott 'Fre for the Rest of Season to maximize PSV's pain. They will know what they could have, and what they don't have and the limits of their control.
I voted 91% - 100% because I believe the right thing should happen, and mostly because I want the Crew to stay in Columbus.
Dag, Bill, until I read your response I was thinking how great it would be if fans from other cities could come together and buy tickets to fill the stadium as a symbol of solidarity in support of keeping the Crew where they belong. I know the logistics aren't possible for everyone, but if fans can follow their squads to other cities it isn't an impossible gesture. I'm interested to know how you and others feel about the idea. ADD: Dammit, I just read further down the thread. Got your view, Bill. Now, on to Page Two...
Hell, I must be a natural. I used to think everyone was annoyed before they talked to me. Alas, I guess one is never too old to learn...
While Archer is arguably the best of us, his opinion is not necessarily shared throughout this entire crowd. Now I await being yelled at and called a lady.
