Spain would've been great, the issue is always getting a fair shot at a starting position. I guess it only matters when he is given that. With Gremio he has all the confidence from the team and coach, it seems. In turn he has the confidence to do things like that beautiful pass.
im just go on ahead an say what i was thinking when i saw him play with Shakhtar. the brasillian (particularly Jadson and Luiz Adriano., Ilsinho as well) players there seemed not to like Marcelo. the only one he seems to have gotten along with him is willian. He did pretty well in Wigan and scored the best goal for Werder that season. maybe Marko Marin had a great one too. wish he would have stayed in Wigan. Sevilla could use a player like him at the moment

Marcelo looking dangerous every time. Not only that he seems to be the focus of the attack which he needed for his confidence.
Luxemburgo was just named the new coach at Gremio. I smell trouble for Moreno, as this guy is a first class biggot. Poor M3, the kid can't catch a break!
i wouldn't worry so much, if marcelo keeps playing the way he's been playing then we have nothing to worry about.
Wasn't he just fired from his last job for being crap?? thats sucks for Gremio. i had seen about 3 games and there was no troubles with the team.
Glad to see Moreno playing well, scoring and assisting. He has 7 goals now, the league leader has 9. Here's his latest goal. You can see the confidence building. On a recent interview they asked him why he thinks he didnt do well in Europe, his answer was that he was not mature enough to make the jump and commitment. With his confidence buliding, playing well in one of teh top teams in South America, I think teams will look at him again after the year is over. I cant remember how long his contract is with Gremio, but if he keeps it up, they might make a profit close to the one made by cruzeiro. http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/gremio-2-vasco-0/ On a seperate note, Moreno is right now the leader (voted by fans) as the best player in Brasilerao for the first half. Below is the clip and tells you where to vote for him. Make sure you all do.
I'll vote. I like how in the video they said he was a Naturalized Bolivian.... look at where he was born!!!
Im right there with you fuego! i freaking hate that shit. I hate it when ignorant people say he is nationalized. He was born and raised in Santa Cruz for god's sake, born to a Bolivian mother. But i hope that in the video they were just joking around, because the video is from this sports/comedy show, very satirical.
I don't know if anyone saw this great gol of his about a month ago, but i just thought it's worth sharing!
Moreno's fitness is back to its peak once again. He looks visibly slimmer and his off the ball movement was impressive on Wednesday night. Despite a lack of decent service, whenever he touched the ball, he threatened Cruzeiro's defense. A good sign for both Bolivia and Flamengo. He'll be facing his ex-team Gremio this Saturday, but Luxemburgo is no longer around.
Awesome! I saw Lux' I think is at Flu' right? Good to hear about him though. I hope he keeps it up, because we need him for the future, and for him to show our kids what can happen if you work hard.
Yes, he's at Flu. Unfortunately, Marcelo was hurt when we played them a few weeks back (but we still won). I'm sure he would have liked to get some revenge. Our FO apparently paid approximately $125k to Gremio so we could use Moreno on Saturday, so that should tell you how he's viewed at the club. His fitness is good, he has regained full confidence from the Gremio incident and benching earlier in the year and he is starting to find his scoring touch once again.
That's awesome! I was watching some of his play vs. Botafogo on BeIN sports in Copa do Brasil. I think Flamengo was a great move, and hope he refinds that Cruzeiro form agian!
Flamengo won the Copa do Brazil...Martins wasnt on the roster but I guess he is injured? link (portuguese)
It's a shame, but I think he's failed in every single team since leaving Brazil the first time. Maybe he'll be coming back to Bolivia after...
He actually just signed for Cruzeiro. Going back home for marcelo! He'll play libertadores with them this upcoming year.
