All but official: might as well get this going! With an announcement that is so Zlatan as well. Time to let the world know. My next destination is @ManUtd pic.twitter.com/DAK7iYlrCq— Zlatan Ibrahimović (@Ibra_official) June 30, 2016

It's obviously a play on it, but I'm not ready to go that far and make out Zlatan to be "Trump-like" just yet...
United have signed Zlatan to make them winners again. http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/marcot...zlatan-ibrahimovic-to-make-them-winners-again
A look at what Ibrahimovic will bring to United. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...movic-to-manchester-united-what-will-he-bring
Would be nice if he could have a Cantona effect on Memphis, Januzaj, and the like. Cliche, but they would be like new signings.
I think we'll push hard for Pogba to be that signing. And we'll look foolish when he signs for Madrid at the end of the summer.
More like they don't need him at all (with Kroos and Modric already there), but they certainly rate him. We know Zidane does...
So let me make sure I get this straight because I'm a little confused right now. Zidane, who clearly fancies him, does not have any say on incoming players? I don't buy that for a second, but fine... So you're saying that Perez who does not rate him, will thus buy him and spend 100mil or so on someone he considers only as a marketing tool of some sort. Am I following you correctly here?
Managers have no role in recruiting players at Madrid, specially big ticket items. Perez will look around to see what he can get and may still go for Pogba with no other option. Very similar to Neymar and Bale.
What I don't understand is that if by your logic Perez does not rate Pogba and that Zidane as zero say in that kind of decision, why would Perez go ahead with a move he would not support? I guess I'm missing something there...
I get that Perez has a history of signing players he does not need, but graduating to players he does not want and merely as some kind of "superstar statement" signing is a whole other level I don't subscribe to in the least. Pogba may or may not end up signing with Real, but it clearly because he will be wanted by them if they do...
