Yup, just happened to me. I'm tracking IP addresses via TCPView. Also have saved the source code of the relevant BigSoccer page if anyone needs it. (You'll have to catch me when I'm back from my Sunday league game in a couple of hours, though...) EDIT: And now the same BS page just flipped me to a MySpace page.
Just got redirected to 4trademark.com. Didn't really see any of the ads on the page before I got redirected.
On a vaguely related front, let me just say that I'm quite pleased to see BigSoccer now has Snorg Tees ads. I like Snorg Tees ads.
Just was taken to vidshadow.tv too which had a lot of skimpy outfit girls. I'll be happy to donate to BS when you guys shut these ridiculous ads off.
Lately, I hear an advert telling me about my $1000 WalMart gift card. I'm not exactly sure where the F it is coming from, and Macafee has already nailed two trojian horses. I heard that there was a problem with Adobe flash, but I havent been using any flash since I had to reformat my hard driver two weeks ago.
just got redirected from the us men n&a forum to spike tv website with some stupid comic-con video i have no idea what the ad was...
These ad's that ask if you are sure you want to move away from the site then redirect you to some random page regardless of what you click need to stop. Ad's are one thing, malware and disruptive ad's are another!
Still getting 'em - twice this morning on two different computers. The first one redirected me (no clicking or hovering) to Bank of America, of all things. The second is the pop-up that says "are you sure you want to navigate away from this page?" but it has taken over the browser window. The only way I've found to escape that one is to go into task manager and kill the browser app.
I had that talking Wal Mart gift certificate ad last week right before being directed to some video page. A few seconds later my (work) computer rebooted itself, and it was infected with some malware posing as an anti-malware program. Not cool. I haven't visited BS at work since, but I'm still frequently getting redirected to strange pages on my home computer. Luckily Chrome seems able to fend off the malware, but sheesh. Make it stop, please.
just got one this morning. didn't take me anywhere just asked me if i was sure i wanted to continue on to this site... i clicked continue and it brought me here. i got a few last week. again, i was never redirected i just shut the page.
Firefox doesn't seem to have any pop-up or warning issues, it simply stops the ads/banners and replaces them with their own banner or ad saying the site is malware and has been blocked. So whatever settings I or Firefox set up is doing its job to block potential malware with no effect on your surfing.
thats pretty crappy Ive always told you fools to use Firefox and addblock. we are forced to get premier membership or get pwned. thats sad, whole ad scheme needs to be revamped. if ppl at work surf BS and their jobs proxy servers get all kinds of pr0n requests because you surf bigsoccer, you may just get fired because of surfing bigsoccer. lol
this is what is going on. i think... the ad provider is serving BS some bull crap ads, so Huss and them have to track them down and get the ads removed from the rotation. i could be wrong im just assuming. hey, its all about cash money!
