At least one report credits him with an assist as well.

    This fan was impressed (again):

4-0 and 3 points is the result of a great Eagles evening. Corboz was once again the best man in the field.

In this article also a video link with an interview of them (if it works)

Een tikkeltje gekke vrienden groeien bij Go Ahead Eagles nog meer naar elkaar toe

A bit daft pals grow even closer at GAE

The links are from the regional newspaper that cover news about GAE. It seems to me a good idea if you keep track of what they report on him by regularly checking their site!

Just found this thread after googling for Corboz, because he plays for my team now (and I can't get to sleep). There's not a lot I can find about him, which is a bit weird, because he looks like a really decent player and he's already 24 now.

Anyway, he has been doing well for us. He was fairly bad in the two away matches against Cambuur and Eindhoven, but the entire team failed in those games. In the two home matches, though, he was excellent, bossing midfield. Pretty amazing considering he came from a regionalliga team. Two seasons ago we had a player from the 3. liga, and that player was pure shite. That's why I didn't expect much from a regionalliga player, but Corboz has exceeded expectations. A real gem unearthed by our technical director Paul Bosvelt. In the interview above Corboz says Dutch football takes much more risks than German football and that it suits his game. Maybe that's why he performs better here than in Germany.

Wow, that's a name I haven't seen on these boards since about...12 years ago, when he was in the last year of his playing career and had a certain young CM understudy at Heerenveen!

Here's a couple of threads mentioning him from the New York Red Bulls boards, where he was an academy player:
    When he was signed: http://www.soccerpubs.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=48941&hl=corboz#entry1273502
    When he was released: http://www.soccerpubs.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=49029&hl=corboz#entry1286499

Because he hasn't played a league match in a top-tier league. The only exceptions for 2nd tier leagues are England, Germany, Spain & Italy.

  16. Fun fact about Go Ahead Eagles.
Their manager is Jack de Gier.

    So what, you might think.

Translated it is Jack the Vulture.

  20. VI rated him with a 6 in the GAE 2-2 Excelsior match.
I watched the highlights as Excelsior is the club located next to my Alma Mater, the Erasmus University and I often watched them training in the evening from one of the top floors in the Uni's high rise.

Must say he makes an active, lively impression.
