It sort of looks like Coentrao is more invested in the team than Morata, but you can't really take anything like that away from one picture but it looks kind of sad.

Interesting stat , Ronaldo's goals and assists have now won us 16 La Liga points. Joint with messi and more than any other player . Here is how the list of players I checked goes :

    1- Ronaldo 16 points (Real Madrid) :
    : 1-Messi 16 points (barcelona )
    3- Piatte 15 points (Espanyol)
    4-Aspas 13 points (Celta Vigo) :
    5-Suarez 12 points (Barcelona) :
    6 Moreno 11 points (Espanyol) :
    7- Ramos 10 points (Real Madrid) :
    7-Griezmann 10 points (Atletico Madrid) :
    8- Kroos 9 points (Real Madrid) :

These are the top goalscorers and assist-makers in La Liga + Ramos. It's worth noting that Ronaldo (at 22 games) played less games than all these players except Kroos , Piatte and Ramos and that both Real and Celta have a game in hand.

By no means am i saying hes having a amazing season or anything but shows how vital hes been to us this season again and alot better than he gets credit for .

Scored a goal that gives your team points. An equalizer or winning goal.

I am not sure if they counted assists for all but it seems to be the case for Kroos seeing how he only has 1 La Liga Goal but 10 assists.

I still get goosebumps when I see this. I knew he was going to do great things, but I never knew what a legend he would become. Totally exceeded my expectations. Ronaldo is one of my top 3 favorite players of all time, along with Zidane and Brazilian Ronaldo.

This guy absolutely lit up two different German teams on the way to two Champions League titles. He didn't do it alone, then again, nobody does. But he's the spark we need. I'm counting on him to turn up against Bayern. I hope he stays safe during the international break.

The funny thing is, now people are complaining that he doesn't score enough. Yet we have seen him track back to defend and play more team ball than I have ever seen him play! It's like there's constantly something to complain about for people. What's ironic is, that nobody is harder on Cristiano than himself. It's one of the biggest reason he'll be the best. This guy has been elite since back when Carles Puyol, Kaka and Samuel Eto'o were considered great players. Imagine yourself being at the zenith of football for that long.

He's been more of a team player this season than any other and I'm enjoying it. I think he's having a great season. Hope he continues to put the defensive effort, providing goals and creating chances.

Portugal were in a different class earlier and Ronny had fun out there, his play with Silva is nice to watch.

With his brace today against Hungary, Cristiano Ronaldo becomes just the 4th ever European player to score 70 international goals:

    • 1. Ferenc Puskás (Hungary/Spain): 84 goals
    • 2. Sándor Kocsis (Hungary): 75 goals
    • 3. Miroslav Klose (Germany): 71 goals
    • 4. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal): 70 goals

Yet you will still have people saying he wasn't that great. Stupidity.

This is one of the best players in history. Period. Had he been born Spanish and barca had less officiating help, we're taking greatest player of all time.

Ronaldo's all around game on and off the ball has been incredible since Santos took over for Portugal. Formation for the most part has been a 442/4132, either way Ronaldo has been at his best when paired up top with another striker to play of off. Links up well with midfield and constantly making runs. Looks to have more jump in his step.

It won't happen this season but going forward I'd love to see some sort of formation change from Zidane. I don't feel this 433 gets enough out of his players.

I don't think anyone can claim he's not one of the best ever. Top 5 ever for me, but at the VERY LEAST top 10.

I, for one, am hoping that the 4-4-2 we saw at Bilbao with Benz and Cristiano up top and Bale as a LM is a sign of things to come.

Cristiano is obviously a different player than he was 2-3 years ago, but he is still inestimably valuable to this squad.

I think Cristiano is going to have a stellar April. He's picking up form that we haven't seen in months
