Benz technique at his best is great but nothing that makes you think "OMG one of the best I've ever seen" TM Hendrix
Great technique is fine but a crappy attitude is another, talent needs a winning attitude to make it all work.
Berbatov, Raul, Ronaldo was CFs with great technique, Benzema a is not bear them. In form he is a very good player but a average striker/goalscorer.
Maybe you morons that were booing ronaldo ass because he didnt score for two or three matches early on this year might give the chap some respect and learn your lesson after another clutch display . Imagine if you had to rely on benzema and bale over the years . What a header that was again .
He was having a pretty poor day and then he gets 2 for us. Amazing. So dangerous, can change the game on its head at any moment
Pitiful how one guy has the drag this team on his own again. FFS he's 32, he won't be able to do this any longer and we're stuck with Benzema for 3-4 more years. FML
The captain (Ramos) was, once again, in charge of motivating the team, asking them for more effort and to help each other on the pitch. "Here, the only one who doesn't have to run is Cristiano, who scores 60 goals," he said to his colleagues. - in the squad meeting after Friday's training. I wonder how some of our posters feel about this
Ramos: I never said Cristiano shouldn't run, this was a published lie. If there's any problem we'll solve it like families do. Ramos: The media released made up meetings between the players and that can cause some harm but they only want to sell papers.
I doubt he would say something like that. Ronaldo and Ramos have had some quarrels over the years on the pitch with respect to some defensive errors, so I do think Ramos expects Ronaldo to put in some hustle at times. Also, the 60 goals a season thing doesn't make much sense either. Ronaldo has 20 goals in La Liga and CL this season, and if he continues with his current goal scoring ratio, plays every single game from now on, and we make it to the CL final, he's still only going to reach 34-35 goals as a best-case scenario.
Yes, compared to 60, and what we usually see from him. I think he scored 50 last year. This year, he is projected to do worse than Higuain (which isn't necessarily a major criticism: Higuain is a baller ... but it does say that Ronaldo is back to performing at a human level).
What your failing to take into account tho is the fact he didnt have a pre season this year due to that bad injury in the euros ,hes missed alot of games this year due to injury ,hes also been rested alot this year , and hes just gone 32 years of age . So when you add all them things to together of course hes goal record is going to suffer and go down , the fact that hes still by far are top goal scorer and one of are best assist makers this year despite all what i said shows how good he is and he should really have 4 times the assists he currently has due to benzema not being able to finish hes dinner .
Why didn't Ronaldo play this weekend? There seems to be a surprising lack of info on that, and an even more surprising lack of curiosity about it.
Great photo of 18-year-old Kylian Mbappé (who scored again today) in L'Équipe from when he was slightly younger.Liked Cristiano Ronaldo... pic.twitter.com/YRpTdy0qlU— Archie Rhind-Tutt (@archiert1) March 11, 2017
