So the M2 has started their season. Is it really a professional league or just a new moniker for the PASL? No attendance reported for either of the first 2 games.
I would surmise that the MASL2 players are getting very little pay, if any. As discussed elsewhere on this board, this league will likely end up being a 'junk drawer' for some teams (such as Chicago) which couldn't keep a team going in the main league. Other teams are glorified rec center teams. If people come to buy tickets, maybe it works out.
It looks like the Sockers are treating their M2 team like a practice squad, which is not even a PASL-level production.
