Vazquez was suspended for the Holland game which is why Salcido got the start. But I expect him (Vazquez) to start as the DM.

Not really. He had one blunder vs. Napoli, a game in which he made 2-3 important saves; then played one more friendly and last week he didn't have much work to do vs. Elche.

 

hmm just going from hear say, haven't watched any Barça this season.

 

That "hearsay" wasn't very accurate, then.

 

He hasnt had a hard time on the pitch, but he has gotten a lot of criticism. Most fans dont want him as a starter.

I really hope - and I am not saying you guys are doing this but I've had this issue with posters from other countries before - that this "missing player XYZ" won't turn into a "well, we lost because we brought our A-squad" or "whoa, we won playing mostly with 2nd-choice players".

Just sayin'.

 

Its going to be two solid strength squads for both teams, there should be no excuses.
