It was great to see Lucas go up against a professional team and he did not disappoint. Playing all 90 minutes against the Real Monarchs and more than holding his own against some great players. It was especially fun seeing him go against old teammates Ricardo and Fito. Lucas held the ball well had about 90 percent pass completion numbers and got off about 4 nice shots . This game showed what Lucas already believed that he can compete and excel at the professional level.

Can't wait for Lucas to finish his current goals beyond soccer and college, and sign for the the Monarchs and RSL (once again, why is this thread in the Portland forum, they don't love you).

Thanks I would love to have the thread moved over to RSL but I don't know how to do it. The thread was originally started by a Fulham Fan when Lucas was playing at Portland but had a good trial over in England with the Fulham U-18 academy. Had it not been for lack of a European grandparent Lucas might have moved over there. So if someone knows how to move this thread over to the RSL group instead of Portland that would be great. :)

Lucas with a nice goal in a 2 to 1 win over Westminster this weekend. The team looked strong in possession but could not seem to finish. Credit an active back four at Westminster.

What a beautiful day to watch soccer the green and white scrimmage down at Utah Valley Lucas played all 90 minutes and scored a beautiful goal to tie the game up cutting in from the right side and hitting a nice shot in the corner. Lucas making some decisions right now on what he will do this summer before his sophomore fall season at Utah valley. Stay tuned.

Lucas arrived and got right into the action with Las Vegas Mobsters. They had a practice game on Saturday and Lucas started and scored a goal in a 4 to 0 win. Lucas played on the left side of the midfield but was able to cut into the middle a lot. His goal came on a cut in from the left side and placing the ball in the right side of the net. Great start for Lucas and the team. There first official game is Saturday at 7:30 pm in las vegas.

Thanks it is nice to know a few people are reading about Lucas and what he is up too. Very exciting times for him. He is working very hard with the team down in Vegas and on his own. It really is a fun team to watch with a lot of skill and a very knowledgeable coaching staff. Lucas is literally soaking up all the soccer knowledge that he can.

Lucas with another goal last night in another 2 to 2 tie. It looks like they have given Lucas a new nickname down in Las Vegas. #LukeNukeEm. Lucas happy with the way the team is playing and really wants a win bad ! But both these ties were against teams they beat the mobsters last year.

A tough road game on Saturday against FC Tucson in a 2 to 0 loss. A very even game with both teams with chances. Lucas seemed to get stronger as the game went on and by the end was the best player on the field. Had a beautiful give and go in the 75 minute that almost led to a goal by Lucas but the goalie made a nice save. On to Albuquerque for a game tonight.

Lucas with a great first half in a close 2 to 1 lose on the road in new mexico. Almost put one in and the announcers were singing his praises as he never lost the ball one time. Second half the team started off well but tired legs started to show as the SOL send it 6 subs with fresh legs. Lucas with a great couple of games

You can watch the BYU vs Mobsters game live here or later at https://www.youtube.com/user/mensbyusoccer. Should be a great game with BYU hungry for a win at home after a bunch of ties and Las Vegas coming off a nice win.
