Played the 2nd half after 10 halftime subs. Won 3-0 "should have been four moments later when Woodrow took the ball in his stride and laid it off to Luca de la Torre, but the American struck too closer to Connor who was able to smother. A diagonal pass from de la Torre then sent Smith in behind, but his attempted lob came at the wrong angle and never really threatened. "

I've thought for awhile DLT is likely one of our next prospects to "break out". Looks like he'll become a 1st teamer this year. As mentioned before, there have been reports out of Fulham suggesting they rate him higher than they did EMO as a prospect.
Starts again for the 1st team, in Portugal: #ffc team to face Nacional: Bettinelli, Stearman, Kalas, Ream, Malone, Adeniran, McDonald, Christensen, de la Torre, Williams, Smith #coyw— Fulham Football Club (@FulhamFC) July 25, 2016
Do you know the squad numbers for this game? The stream I'm watching is pretty crappy, so it's hard to tell the players apart.
I hate to say this, but in the moments I've seen him get possession, he has lost it. Not pleased with his first half performance offensively, but defensively he's been very good. Now as I say that, he nearly scored after a good sequence, great first touch in tight space and is denied near post.
The Championship season kicks off in a few hours with Fulham vs. Newcastle. I'm curious to see if DLT makes the 18.

Really seems like Jokanović is intent on making sure that the youth get blooded. Sessegnon *16 years old* is one of England's jewels in his age bracket and he got tons of time with the first team in the pre-season. Probably to prevent the youth defection they saw this summer ala dembele and hyndman. Good news for De La Torre.

Fulham wins 3-2 withstanding a late rally. DLT comes off in the 88th after all the scores. He was one of four Academy grads to get a debut.
Some quotes from fans at the game: "De la torre IMO was not good enough. Physically much weaker than the other 3 and with no end product. For his debut and at his age I'm certainly not writing him off as he showed glimpses of magic dribbling with the ball Robertsesque but the game passed him by and he fizzled out. Joka was right to sub him." "While I agree in most with the above I have to say I think De la Torre is worthy of a bit more credit in my own opinion as when he had the ball at his feet he was quality. Admittedly, mostly when he was playing with the other youngsters. They all had a very good understanding of each other, which if we could transfer that to the first team would make us formidable. However as mentioned above, he lacked a bit of muscle and that final ball. Did very well getting it into the last third then didn't seem to know what to do with it. But for such a young lad he has plenty of time to develop that and I think he can be a hidden gem for us along with Sess and Adeniran with the right coaching and chances. What they are, I am not the right man to say. "
The Fulham - Newcastle highlights (Fulham FC Channel on YouTube) are worth watching just for that one Ayite move.
