U21s: Big chance for Fulham as Plumain's reverse pass finds De La Torre but he drags wide from an acute angle on the left. 1-0, 68mins #COYS— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) May 8, 2015
Another goal for the U18s in their season finale, a 5-1 win over Arsenal: The Whites then found three more in the second half, Redford cooly slotting in the third, Luca de la Torre tapping in the ball from a defensive mix-up for the fourth and an own goal from Arsenal in the closing stages of the game for the final 5-1 victory. http://www.fulhamfc.com/under-18s/2014_2015/league/final-stage/home/arsenal#report
So, best case scenario for those of us living in a dreamland: Hyndman kills it in the U-20 World Cup, gets picked up by Dortmund this summer (as that dubious report stated interest a few months ago), and then Luca replaces Hyndman in the big boy lineup full time next year and single handedly leads Fulham back to the BPL. It can happen, right?
De la Torre is in pre-season with Fulham's U21s, played the second half of a recent friendly. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2015/july/11/fulham-u21s-0-2-aldershot

Had the assist in today's winner for U-21s to open the season: http://www.fulhamfc.com/under-21s/2015_2016/league/home/brighton-and-hove-albion Over on Viva El Fulham, one of the posters who watched three games in the U-21s preseason slate said Luca was their most impressive player over those three games. "Playing as a number 10"
The lineup I saw had him wearing #10 playing as the CM in front of a DM in a T midfield 4. Maybe something like the US uses with Bradley, Luca is, of course, more suited to playing high up the field.
Pretty slick run by De La Torre. I believe he'll be squaring off against Arsenal and Zelalem tonight. Fulham Football ClubVerified account@FulhamFC #FFC U21s kicked-off the season last Friday with a 1-0 win against Brighton. Here's Stephen Humphrys' late winner:

Nice technique and calm finish. I liked his off the ball movement to get himself into that space. Thx for sharing BR.
