This is partly because I fell into the same trap myself, but I think it's worth remembering that DLT is a young 20 years old (as of late May). He's been at Fulham since he was like, 16, so he's been around for a loooong time, but he's still very young.

Spot minutes in the EPL, as a 20 year-old, would not be such a bad thing.

Compare that with our late bloomers (e.g MLS draft guys like Mueller, Baird, etc.), and I'd say DLT's still on the right path. I'd give it another year before he needs to push for a starting role somewhere in a lesser league.

I had no idea he was that young. For some reason, I was thinking mid-20's.

It's cause he looks like he's in his mid 20's. I'm turning 25 in a week, and I still get people who think I'm in high school. I don't think DLT has ever had that problem. He's had that scruff since he got to Fulham.

He was on the U-20 World Cup team in 2017 - & scored an enormous goal in the first game

Wish he was playing in Spain. He looked like Iniesta lite when he was with the U17s.

Spain is full of players that are way worse than Iniesta, but better than DLT. The farer from Spain the better.

At least you can get a beard. All I get is wispy, patchy scruff, and 100 percent smooth, ruddy cheeks. If I stop shaving for 3-4 weeks, I just look homeless...

I watch a lot of Fulham and DLT (along with Fossey) is one of the guys they rate really highly. The fact that Tayo Edun is going on loan, but DLT is sticking with the first team is a good sign. He definitely should see some time this season.

Doesn't even make the bench today. Is he sick or something?

Fulham just basically went off today on signings which lead me to believe playing time will be sparse for our compatriot. Wasn’t expecting much but dang they spent over 100m Euros on new players I think.

Not involved with the u23 game today... Don't want to assume anything, but I have a feeling this means he will be a part of the squad tomorrow.

He may have had cauliflower based nacho flavored crackers tonight. It is detrimental to performance.
