Yes, I liked Tommy's rampaging run up the middle. Who was it that said that Tommy was too slow and couldn't get separation? That GiggsyManu guy? Sometimes it's just about doing the unexpected and putting the defense on their heels. He doesn't have to try to beat a player to the endline ala' Salinas.

Anyone know why Godoy and Magnus didn't play?

Wasn't hot at all. It was actually in the mid-70's and absolutely beautiful.

Somebody needs to tell the Ultras that, maybe their shirts will stay on.

    I have the same question.

My guess is that he just wanted to get a longer look at Hyka and Jackson, with the first team. I think Godoy and Magnus are lock starters.

I fully expect that Magnus will be a lock starter.

I hope that Godoy is not. I want to see TT and Jackson running the midfield. OR, I could definitely go for a 3-5-2 with Godoy and Jackson playing the deep midfield spots, but then what do we do with our "wing-backs" Lima and JQ?

Nah, it's going to be a 4-4-2, with an attacking center mid and overlapping outside defenders. Now that we've got outside defenders who can actually overlap with purpose and danger, we might be able to pull this off.

But I want Tommy at center mid directing the offense.

    Go Quakes!!

Team is so deep this early in the season that they shouldn’t risk any further injury to anyone. We don’t have to rely on a Shaun Francis, Cordell Cato or Kodi Sarkodie this year. Bring on the rotation
