Doesn't Italy have 3 brazilian born players on their team? commentators never seem to mention it when we had Deco, Pepe, Liedson they used to mention it all the time. They stopped doing it with Pepe though.
Only 2, Jorginho didn't make the team and neither did the other Argentine player who's name escapes me. I always found it hilarious how we got stick for Deco while Camoranesi was playing for Italy but it was ok because he had a *wink wink* great grandfather from Italy....despite the fact the rule at the time stated you could be an international for the nation of your grand parents not *wink wink* great grand parents.
Yeah, I remember when some Italian guys had that whole spiel memorized and would recite it on command. I guarantee that Deco has some sort of Portuguese blood along with Pepe. Our nation immigrated everywhere. obviously we are going to have tons of players born outside of Portugal, not sure why people think this is weird.
