The semifinals are on Friday, June 20, and the final is on June 21. At the moment the Cavalry are the #2 seed but they could fall to #3 depending on the results this weekend.

Region III minor league soccer has grown so much since the rather robust late 90's when back then teams were well stacked and had quality competition. 20 years on and it amazes me how strong the beautiful game is at this level of sport. Then there is our region's high school scence, Elsik winning the 6A State title and USA Today's National Champions. As well as HISD Lee's regional championship at 5A. Can we get these inner city footballers up our Houston Dynamo ranks and playing for their own city!!!
