3 game for Lollo with a Banfield jersey... scored his first own goal for el Taladro today in their 3-2 loss vs. Argentinos Jrs.

Moreira with another goal for the Timbers..

I wonder if he'll end up returning in December or just stay in MLS

Enzo Fernandez with a Copa Sudamericana goal to give Defensa y Justicia a 3-2 away win vs. Bahia in Brazil for the quarterfinals of the cup.

The 19-year-old, one of Gallardo's youth prospects, has been getting regular playing time in el halcon as he hopes to fight for a spot in River upon returning (his DyJ loan ends December 2021). This was his first ever professional goal.

Franco Paredes (21-year-old defender) and Nahuel Gallardo are also on loan at the same club. The former is a regular starter, while Gallardo's son is getting regular playing time but sometimes alternates with a spot on the bench (as happened today in Brazil)

DyJ now looks to seal a spot in the semifinals... good international experience for the trio.

Enzo Fernandez and Franco Paredes played a fundamental part in Defensa y Justicia lifting their first ever Copa Sudamericana title: both loanees started in DyJ’s 3-0 win vs Lanus in the final, with Enzo especially showing multiple great characteristics as a midfielder who could be useful to River upon returning.

Prior to the final, Enzo expressed his desire to return and succeed in River (where he spent 15 years developing in youth divisions) after his loan concludes:

Both players still have 12 months left on their loan, meaning they’ll also be disputing the Recopa and the Suruga Cup (assuming that’s still going on with the pandemic and everything) later this year. Paredes, unlike Fernandez, has a higher chance of remaining with el halcon as they possess a buyout clause within his loan contract ($1M for 50%).

Nahuel Gallardo was also part of the championship squad, although he remained on the bench in the final..

Enzo Fernandez formed part of CONMEBOL's Copa Sudamericana 2020 "Team of the Tournament", following in the steps of past River players to be included in the cup's ideal eleven (Barovero, Funes Mori, Pisculichi, Carlos Sanchez, and Teo Gutierrez)

Palmeiras keep on proving the frauds they are, this time by losing the Recopa title to Defensa y Justicia

Props to Enzo Fernandez, who played 90 minutes in both legs and now has two international titles to his name. Looking forward to seeing this kid return.

Franco Paredes was also part of the championship team, but he seems to have lost his starting spot since Beccacece took over and didn't get any playing time vs. Palmeiras.

    And then there's this guy:

    1 Libertadores (2018), 1 Sudamericana (2020), 2 Recopas (2019, 2021), 1 Supercopa Argentina (2018), and 2 Copa Argentinas (2019)

I might also add that since he left nearly a year-and-a-half ago, River hasn't won any titles, while Defensa y Justicia of all teams have lifted two international trophies. Mindboggling.

Cristian Ferreira was able to lift a title during his loan stint, just like Enzo Fernandez, Nahuel Gallardo, and Paredes also did this season.

CAMPEON COPA DE LA LIGA PROFESIONAL 2021

Although he wasn't a starter at the beginning of the season and had to work his way up slowly, he ended up playing the entire 90 minutes of Colon's historic 3-0 win vs. Racing in the final

Much like the aforementioned players led DyJ to their first top flight title, this was Colon's first ever championship win in their 116 year history.

Ferreira will continue in Santa Fe for another 12 months, as his loan deal is set to expire in June 2022 (no buyout option). He will be playing the Libertadores next year, as Colon have become the first qualified team after winning this tournament.

Cristian Ferreira gave Colon the 1-0 win over Godoy Cruz today:

Of course it had to be a freekick! If I'm not mistaken, this was his first official goal for el sabalero

Golazo for Matias Moya in Ñublense's victory over Union La Calera. Couldn't find the video of the individual goal, but it's the first goal in the game highlights below:

LPM is claiming he has scored 11 goals in 20 games, which would extremely impressive considering how poor his stint at Banfield was, but I can't figure out if that's accurate: Transfermarkt lists him as having 13 goals in 21 games, but the individual game stats (and the Chilean Primera goleadores rankings) only show him as having found the net 5 times. Confusing stuff, but regardless he's doing better than he was at Banfield, where the fans game him a lovely nickname:

We'll see what happens with Mati.. it took him a while to break into the first team, but now he seems to be an important player for Ñublense. I believe there is an undisclosed buyout clause, but the Chileans may try to simply renew the loan since Gallardo probably doesn't have any plans for him.
