There's no question that at this point in time, Keko is way better than Andrada... And Mora too for that matter (I hope he shuts me up on Sunday though)

So we're close to reaching a historic goal drought (if we don't score Sunday, that will make it 5 consecutive games with no goals), yet the players that we soooooo thoughtfully loaned out are scoring left and right.

Keko on the goalscorers sheet yet again for Argentinos..

Trezegol coming off the bench and scoring 2 goals in 10 minutes (we haven't scored one in 400) to give Newell's the tie after being down 0-2.

    Ay dioss......

Jesus christ.. another goal for Trezeguet, this time in Newell's 1-1 tie with direct title competitors San Lorenzo. He's saving them week after week with his goals.

This is just getting frustrating...

Who would have thought Andres Rios would be doing so good? Granted he's only playing in the Ecuadorian league, he's tearing it up right now for Deportivo Cuenca: top scorer of the entire league (11 this tournament), for a total of 22 goals in 2013. He even has more goals than Stracqualursi, a more proven striker that also plays in the same league. Not bad.

He returns in December along with Villalva. He never seemed fit for River, however..

Villalva should stay, Rios should just stay in Ecuador its more or less his level.

Keko IMO, and I know you feel similarly loco, is good enough for River, but manager after manager seems to never give him a run of games. He is certainly way better than Andrada who started something like 13 or 14 games this season which is probably more starts than keko got in 4 years... And we ask ourselves why we can't score

Trezeguet came in for Newell's in the last 25 minutes of their match vs. Nacional de Montevideo (Copa Libertadores) when they were tying 2-2 and ended up scoring not one, but two goals.

The game ended 4-2 thanks to Treze's quick double, which gave la lepra 3 vital points to continue fighting in the Copa.

Will he return in a few months?

I think D'Onofrio and Francescoli want Trezeguet, but Ramon I'm pretty sure doesn't.

I don't know how Ramon, Emiliano, and David could coexist given what happened.... Not to mention Cavenaghi is back and he and Trezeguet weren't exactly friends...

It's sad but I don't think we'll David in a river shirt again:(

    And again...

Trezeguet came off the bench to score Newell's only goal in their 1-1 tie vs. Quilmes.

He keeps on demonstrating that he is still lethal regardless of age. He almost always comes off the bench for Newell's, yet scores in the few chances he gets.

Wow I didn't even realize he was on loan at banfield... We really did Almeyda a favor didn't we... Not just th him but cazares

I also wouldn't be surprised if Ponzio ended up there in June since his days at river seem to be over

There was so much hype for the Ecuadorian a couple years back. How has he been performing in Banfield?

    Gio's golazo vs Godoy Cruz:

    4 goals in 6 games.

He now has officially scored the same amount of goals for Banfield as he has between all 3 of his season at River combined :p

Tomas Martinez with this absolute golazo to give Defensa y Justicia an important win over Racing

He has been having a very interesting season with DyJ and could be useful once he returns from his loan.. Sure, playing for a small team isn't the same as wearing River's jersey, but if we gave Pity, Bertolo, Driussi, etc. so many chances, why not him?

Another player on loan who has been playing well lately, is Federico Andrada. He scored vs. Godoy Cruz two weeks ago, then last night he got another one away to Rosario Central.

    http://lapaginamillonaria.com/river...da-rosario-central-vs-quilmes-campeonato-2016

What would you say about Andrada? He is the highest all time scorer in the inferiores, but he had only 1 goal for River and he never scored for Metz and he was iffy at Rafaela. I don't know if they will give him a chance, but he is still only 22. I'd take him to the preseason tour of the USA and see where it goes from there.

This is a list of all the players coming back from loan:

    Alexander Barboza Ullúa (marcador central)
    Ezequiel Cirigliano (volante central)
    Guido Rodríguez (volante central)
    Tomás Martínez (enganche)
    Federico Andrada (delantero)
    Juan Cruz Kaprof (delantero)
    Giovanni Simeone (delantero)

I would keep all these players. For example, Guido Rodriguez I never liked much, but he at least is a #5 who can play out from the midfield. Neither Ponzio nor Domingo did that this semester. Arzura was a disaster. I

I don't know Ullua, but we have a serious lack of depth in the center of defense.

Gio Simeone definitely deserves a chance IMO. He has been scoring for Banfield pretty regularly. Lets see he can do it with the pressure of playing for River. You can't deny the kid has a great work ethic and professional mentality. I'd prefer Gio over Driussi any day of the week.

I hear Alexander Barboza had a really solid season too... we are lacking CBs, so he should get a shot IMO...

Barboza, Gio, and Martinez would be the 3 to keep IMO... maybe Kaprof too

Outside of that nice goal against Sevilla what has Kaprof done to prove he is worth?. I don't think he did well at Metz. I would be interested to see if Simeone can finally live up to his pedigree. Cirigliano has to snap out of it. For his sake and our sake as we need a solid 5 next season. I doubt he will.:(
